Leonard "DOOKIE" Michael Leslie entered into Eternal Rest on Monday, January, 30, 2023. Mr. Leslie was born on May 24, 1989, in New Orleans, LA. He was 33 years old. Dookie graduated from John McDonald Senior High School and worked as a laborer. He is the proud father of 2 angels Lauren Leslie and Nova Boudreaux. He leaves to cherish his memories: Mother Judy Leslie (Kevin) and Father William Wilson; 3 Sisters, Shandricka and Earleshia Leslie and Leah Wilson; 1 Brother, William Montgomery; devoted friend, Dana Johnson; Stepfather to Melasia and Melanie Carbin; 2 Uncles, Michael Jones, Sr. and Dewayne Wilson; 2 Aunts, Debbie Jones and Dianne Wilson; 1 Great-Aunt Sharon Joseph. Mr. Leslie is proceeded in death by 2 grandmothers Joyce Sumler and Donna Wilson; Grandfather Benjamin Leslie, Aunt Peggy Jones and Uncle Leonard Jones. Dookie is also survived by 2 Nephews, 3 Nieces and a host of cousins and friends.
Relatives and Friends are invited to the Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Professional Funeral Services, Inc. 1449 North Claiborne Ave. New Orleans, LA 70116. Visitation begins at 9 AM with the service to follow at 10 AM. Interment Resthaven Cemetery.
