Leonard Lamar Picklesimer, age 64, of Forsyth County, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. Leonard was a member of Christian Hill Baptist church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Nannie Picklesimer; brothers, Hugh, William, Jewell, Winford, Jackie, Ricky, and Douglas Picklesimer; significant other, Wanda Foster.
He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Bruce, Mary (Hoyt) Bruce, Janie (Glen) Bruce, Deborah (Jackson) Chambers; brother and sisters-in-law, Tommy (Maryann) Picklesimer, Judy Picklesimer; stepchildren, Timothy, Amy, Brian Stephens, Brandy Queen; 7 step grandchildren; significant other, Ellen Picklesimer; many other loving relatives and friends. If he knew you, you were his friend. The family is grateful for Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center for the great care given.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16th, 2026, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Caine, Rev. Richard Picklesimer, and Rev. Danny Ray Martin officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 16th, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Hill Baptist Church.
