Age 89 passed away peacefully on June 23, 2022. Len is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Dorita (Meixl) Woloszyk, his daughters Kathy (Jim) Scipior, Diane (Mark) Trudell, Sally (Rick) Kriva and his son John Woloszyk. Len is also survived by 11 grandchildren; Vince, (Anne), Anna (Cody), Marah (Steve), Nick, Natalie, Nathan, Coreen, Jack, Daniel, Lucy and Jacob as well as six great grandchildren; Alex, Seylah, Cohen, Delia, Logan and Iyla. Len is also survived by many nieces and nephews who often referred to him as Uncle Bud or Uncle Lenny. Len is preceded in death by his parents Josephine (Budeski) and Leonard Woloszyk, along with his sister Marion (Fred) Hinzmann and sister Shirley (Sylvester) Britzke.

Len was born in Milwaukee and moved to Oshkosh at age 9. Len met Dorita in North Park when he was 15 years old, Dorita 14. They became high school sweethearts. Len admired Dorita's singing in many high school performances. His love of her singing was lifelong.

Len graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1950 and joined the Marines on his 18th birthday for four years serving in Korea during the war. After discharge, Len attended UW-Madison obtaining an electrical engineering degree. He also married Dorita in the summer of 1955 at St. Mary's Catholic church in Oshkosh.

Len worked for 10 years at various Milwaukee companies, foremostly Louis-Allis power electronics division. Len also earned a master's degree in electrical engineering from UW-Madison and a Wisconsin Professional Engineer title. Len became a free-lance engineer in Milwaukee for the next 10 years, and during that period invented his own product line of water leak detection systems. He named the company he started Dorlen Products, selling to industrial and commercial accounts. The company is now owned by son John.

Len had a keen interest in engineering and Dorita Music throughout their marriage, but foremostly was their love of and pride in all their children and grandchildren, each different in their own way. Len and Dorita spent many winters at their condominium in Punta Gorda, FL.

Len had a great love of nature and enjoyed spending time gardening in their beautiful yard. Each year he added to his informal garden.

Visitation on Friday July 8, 2022 at ST. ALPHONSUS CATHOLIC CHURCH (6060 W. Loomis Road, Greendale, WI.) from 10AM - 11:45 AM with the funeral mass to begin at 12 Noon. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Jude Hospital or Catholic Charities.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home Greenfield, WI.
