I first met Leo in high school I was a freshman and he a senior.
He was the drummer in a band called Thor with lead singer Stever Augeri who later went on to be the singer in Journey.
They had won battle of the bands.
I was amazed with his drumming.
As a drummer myself I immediately ran over to talk to him and boy oh boy not only was he a great drummer but a great person . He was so incredibly nice. We became friends and he actually lived right across the street from New Utrecht high school so we would cut class lol and go to his house and play drums
He thought me so much and became a true mentor.
We had remained friends for a really long time and helped each other get gigs. We also drove a comuter bus together and use to joke around on the CB while making runs to the city.
We also had a lot of mutual friends Tony Colucio, Rudi Crisalli, George Terranova, Phil and John Castellano to name a few .
As time went on we drifted apart but I never forgot the great times and great inspiration he was.
He brought joy to everyone .
The world has lost a talented kind hearted man.
You will be greatly missed Leo.
Till we meet again and jam on the other side .Rest in peace brother.

I met Leo through my daughter Angelina. He was one of the nicest people I´ve ever met. I know he meant the world to her and he will be truly missed. Rest in peace Sweet Leo.
