Leondray Richard Fox, affectionately known as Lee, passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on February 15, 1955, Lee was a resident of Richmond, Virginia, where he built a cherished life marked by dedication and kindness.
Lee had a fulfilling career in sales at Napa Auto Parts, where he was known for his exceptional work ethic and interpersonal skills. He left an indelible mark on those he worked with, showcasing his gentle giant personality, always willing to lend a helping hand or share his knowledge. His commitment to service extended beyond his professional life, as he engaged with his community in meaningful ways.
A proud graduate of Huguenot High School in Richmond and later Virginia Commonwealth University, Lee valued education and used his experiences to guide others. His love for learning was matched only by his passion for gardening, which provided him a sanctuary and an opportunity to connect with nature. In addition to gardening, Lee enjoyed fishing and cherished spending time with family at the beach, creating lasting memories in those serene environments.
He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie J. Fox, and his stepchildren, Jade Blount (Douglas) and Jasmine Robinson. Lee also leaves behind his sister-in-law Phyllis Waddey and brothers-in-law Harold and Frank Lipscomb, along with a network of cousins, relatives, and friends who will greatly miss his presence.
Lee joins his beloved parents, Edna and James Fox, and sister Elsonia Fox in eternal rest. The memories shared and the impact he made in the hearts of those who knew him will forever remain.
A memorial service to honor Lee's life will be held on September 17, 2025, at Joseph Jenkins Jr Funeral Home in Richmond, VA, beginning at 11:00 AM, with a concluding ceremony at 12:00 PM. All who knew Lee are encouraged to attend and celebrate a life well-lived.
