“How I miss you and I love you so very much
The secrets that we share,
Knowing you've "been there"
The bond between us and our trust
Mom, you know you're my best friend
I never thought about living without you
And now it's time to do so, it's very hard
I'll see you one day and when I do
I'll shower all my love on you
Great big hugs and kisses that are overdue
Mom, I miss you”
-Kalitta Layton
