Leora Randle, 87, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Loft at Rock Springs in Decatur.
Leora was born June 7, 1936, in Haywood County, Tennessee, the daughter of Addison and Rosa Lee (Mitchell) Douglas. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age at Bluff Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Haywood County, Tennessee.
Leora is survived by her children Ora Jean (Wallace) Bunch, Larry Bonds, Jerdean (Rudolph) Meeks, Robert Bonds, and Lori (Tammy) Gunther, sisters Earnestine Manns and Mildred Rice, grandchildren Stacey, Kisha, Jason, Lelen, Lawrence, Ariel, Skye, Anthony, and Lakia, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Leora was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, James Currie and Robert Minor.
Honoring Leora's wish, Private Services to celebrate Leora's life will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 30, 2023 at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the
Alzheimer's Association.
