LeRoy Duden, 97, of Sterling died Wednesday November 14, 2024 at Citadel of Sterling. LeRoy was born February 16, 1927 in Sterling the son of Johnny and Lillian (Obendorf) Duden. He married Nancy Dunbar on April 21, 1961 at the First Christian Church in Sterling.
Survivors include two sons Lonnie (Dawn) Duden of Sterling, and Mark Duden of Freeport; two daughters Pat Cassotis, and Cindy Duden both of Sterling;five grandchildren Jessica Duden, Jenny Duden, Randy Duden, Katrina Spangler, and Allison Blakeney; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Nancy; one granddaughter Jeane' Duden Emler and brother Clarence Duden.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be from 4PM-6PM Thursday November 21, 2024 at the First Christian Church in Sterling.

I remember Leroy and the whole family when we lived out on Quinn Road North of Sterling. I would drive the tractor and wagon up there to their farm and buy shelled corn for my calfs... Leroy was a true neighbor and friend of my family, The SAYERS....Thank you for your friendship and loyalty to us... REST IN PEACE LEROY... Todd Sayers
