LeRoy “Paul” Fredricks, 72, of Hastings died on October 7, 2025 at Mary Lanning Health Care in Hastings, NE.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Apfel Funeral Home in Hastings. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 11th at 10:30 AM in the Glenvil Cemetery with Reverend Tevin Eddy officiating. All are welcome to join. A luncheon will follow at Berean Bible Church in Hastings. Memorials are suggested to CASA of South Central Nebraska or the Royal Family Kids Camp.
Paul was born on October 13, 1952 in Hastings, NE to Virgil and Mildred (Yost) Fredricks. He grew up in Glenvil.
He was united in marriage to Ronna Lee Stewart on November 27, 1971 in Glenvil. The couple made Glenvil home as Paul farmed for 48 years. Paul and Ronna were also the owners of Country Harvest Pumpkin Patch for 21 years.
He was a member of the Berean Bible Church in Hastings.
He is survived by his wife, Ronna; son, Nathan (Gabriela) Fredricks; daughter, Heather (Brett) Mohling; five grandchildren: Tia (Patrick) Douglas, Kylie Mohling, Ashlyn Mohling, William Fredricks and Tobias Fredricks; two great grandchildren, Evan and Olivia Douglass; sister, Kay (Ron) Davis; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Fredricks and Melanie (Scott) Randall; brother-in-law, John Lentfer; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his sister.
