LeRoy E. Larson

LeRoy E. Larson, age 96 of Forest Lake area passed away peacefully on the morning of August 17, 2010. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Elizabeth; two sisters; and three brothers. He is survived by sons, Dennis (Diane), David (Jill), daughters, Carol Grimes (friend Paul Goettig), Candyce (Dan) Pierro; grandchildren: Michael, Suzanne, Debra, and Kathryn plus 7 step grandchildren; great grandchildren: Ashley, Aaron, and Sara plus 6 step great grandchildren; one sister Irene Anderson and two brothers, Edward and Verlo (Kay); many nieces and nephews as well as their families and dear friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday and 9:30-10:30 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Interment at Crystal Lake Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers memorials to Koronis Manor, Paynesville, MN, 56362, in loving memory of LeRoy E. Larson.
