October 15, 1965 - January 17, 2026
Leroy "Roy" Ragland, 60, of Atlantic City passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, at AtlantiCare Medical Center. Leroy was a lifelong resident of Atlantic City, and a proud graduate of Atlantic City Public School system. He was a dedicated employee of the City of Atlantic City, for 13 years, in the Public Works Dept., also employed at the Steel Pier Amusement Park of Atlantic City.
Leroy leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Robin Ragland, of 37 years; his four children, Danielle, Brandi, Travis, and Kyle (Jessica); grandchildren, Isaiah, Brooklynn, Glory, Iman, and Kyle, Jr; siblings, Andrea C. Ragland (Jacob), Overseer Kevin D. Ragland (Mary), William L. Ragland (Kimberly), and sister in law Erica Teasley; special aunts, Mittie Deshields, Joan Ragland, and Geri Ragland; nieces and nephews, Lanae Anderson (Malcolm), Kevin McCoy, Jayla Rollins, Genesis, Winston, Eric, Kyrie, and Hilton; special nephew and nieces Christian Ragland, Tasiah Ragland, and Teylar Ragland; and a hosts of other cousins, relatives, and friends. Leroy is predeceased by his parents Leroy Ragland, Sr. and Katie A. Ragland.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Lighthouse Community Church, 923 W. Washington Ave., Pleasantville, where friends may call from 10 a.m. Burial in Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville.

I worked with Leroy for many years in the Beach & Boardwalk Dept. He was a very dedicated employee and I enjoyed working with him. Leroy could always talk up a good story and he had many of them! We worked hard but always had a good time. To Leroy's family my condolences.

I walked on the Atlantic City boardwalk for many years and would see Leroy. He always had a smile and a hello. He was a kind man and will be missed.
