He was the son of the late Donald Shinaver, Sr. and Ruth Jarsey. He was retired, and served in the Unites States Marine Corps.
Survivors include 4 Sons: Johnathan (Kristi Bagley) Shinaver of the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN, LeRoy James Shinaver Jr. of Alabama, Steven John Shinaver of Suda, TX, and Donald Kenneth Shinaver of Arkansas; 2 Daughters: Sara Ann Shinaver of Colorado Springs, CO, and Angelica Marie Shinaver of Hinesville, GA; and several grandchildren.
The family has chosen cremation, with no services at this time.
Memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
