Leslie Applegate Obituary
Gene was a master carpenter. He enjoyed watching old westerns. He loved spending time with his family.
Gene is preceded in death beside his parents by his wife Anna Applegate July 10, 2025. One son Shane Douglas Applegate. Five brothers Harold Applegate, Cliff Applegate, Fred Applegate, George Applegate, and Allan Ray Applegate. Four sisters Verna Bond, Margie Polley, Helen Ruth Gottfried, and Donna Thoroughman.
Left to cherish his memory are his step daughter Michelle Roe. Two step grandsons Christopher Caldwell II, and Timothy (Bella) Caldwell. One step great grandson Theodore Caldwell. Two sisters Mary Alice Clark, and Nellie Bloomfield. One brother Darrell Bud Applegate. Two brother in-laws, two sister in-laws, and several nieces and nephews who also survive.
Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
