Leslie "Les" Guy Asbury Jr., 65, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on November 5, 2025. Les was born in Denver, Colorado, on July 1, 1960, to the late Leslie Guy Asbury Sr. and Corinne Anne Holms (Asbury).

In addition to his parents, Les was preceded in death by his brothers David Baxter and Leroy Baxter, and his sister Laura Ray.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Cynthia Louise Asbury, and his devoted children: son Leslie Guy Asbury III and wife Bridgett, and daughter Virginia Louise Lenser and husband Michael. He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Carson Lenser and spouse Montgomery-Lee, Kaylee Gates, Daisy Asbury, Logan Asbury, Savannah Lenser, and Bennie Asbury. He is also survived by his sister Belva Ann Dye; nieces Jennifer Ray, Linda Burkhart, Rachel Chapman and spouse Ross Wiseman, Emily Carter and Amber Honeycutt; nephews Charles (Junior) Dye, Brian Dye, Andy Dye and wife Teresa, Mikel Honeycutt, Keith Burkhart, and Stephen Chapman and wife Caitlin; mother-in-law Kathryn Williams (Conner) and other family and friends.

A retired truck driver after 28 years of service with several companies throughout Arkansas and Oklahoma, Les was a man of many talents and passions. His hobbies included building race car motors, drag racing, fishing, and gardening. He was also a skilled handyman who enjoyed woodworking and plumbing. Above all, he cherished quality time with his family, often engaging in lively games of Skipbo. He accepted the Lord as his Savior on June 9, 2023.

A celebration of Les's life will be held at a later date.

Donations will be used to help his widow with bills and a donation made to the Fort Smith Boys Shelter.
