Leslie Clausell

Mr. Leslie James "Hook" Clausell Jr. of Moss Point Mississippi, departed this life into his heavenly home on July 30, 2024. Leslie was the third child of 11 born on November 2, 1956, in Pascagoula Mississippi to the late Leslie and Alice Clausell.
Leslie was a dedicated husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and brother-in-law. He was a member of God's Rainbow Christian Center. He was also a retired insulation supervisor at Huntington Ingalls Shipyard where he worked for 20 years before his early retirement because of health issues.
He was preceded in life by his wife of 50 years, Mary F. Clausell, his father and mother Leslie and Alice Clausell, two brothers Charles Clausell and Michael Clausell and two sisters, Peggy L. Pettaway and Maggie D. Forrest.
He will forever be loved by his daughter, Elecia L. Rembert of Moss Point, Ms. His three grandsons, Fabian Chestang, Darius Chestang and Kalyn Rembert and two granddaughters Erin (Rashan) Johnson, of Jackson MS, and Danielle Rembert of Moss Point, Ms. Five sisters, Mary Gray or Pascagoula, Lillian Byrd of Gautier, MS, Gwendolyn (James) Jefferson of Temple, Texas, Rose, Polk or Pascagoula, Ms. and Kimberly (Perry) Arnold, of Jackson, Ms. One brother, Christopher Clausell of Gautier, Ms. Eleven great grandkids and also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
