Suzanne, Laura and I will be in Va. Beach on May 9 and 16th. Paul Schlesinger just sent me an email regarding Les. We so enjoyed seeing you two at the reunion and I really enjoyed having Les as a fraternity brother for 4 years at W & L.
If you are available, we would like to share a cup of coffee. If not, please know that you and your family are in our thoughts.

Dear Grandis Family - I worked with Les for 16 years and was impressed by the unwavering love and devotion he had for his family. He never missed an opportunity to chat about the "goings on" in his family. I will always hold great admiration for Les in my heart and I send you my most sincere condolences.

I worked with Les for 24 years and can't say enough good things about him. He loved his wife and children as much as anyone I ever met and never missed an opportunity to say so.

Mrs. Grandis and family my thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. I was saddened and shocked to hear of Mr. Grandis home going. I pray that God will strengthen you and will once again restore the joy to you as you reflect upon the good times you shared and not the sad times of dealing with his illness. I worked for 21 years at McGuireWoods and Mr. Grandis is one of the first persons that stood out for me when I started. He was indeed a brillant, dedicated and very much respected man. He loved his family and he loved the law. God Bless!
