Leslie Dunkerton Harris

Leslie Dunkerton Harris of Belle Vernon was sent to her eternal home on November 27, 2025 at the age of 78. She was born June 29, 1947, a daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy Dunkerton of Monongahela.

Leslie was a shining light in the lives of those who knew and loved her. No one could tell a story and have you laughing like she could. She was a member of Char-Belle Free Methodist Church in Belle Vernon. Leslie had an unwavering faith in God and also enjoyed her weekly Monday night bible study group. Learning and playing the piano and organ was a joy to her soul.

Leslie is preceded in death by her husband Donald Harris and brother Douglas Dunkerton. Left to cherish her memory are her nieces Jennifer McBride and Kelly Guglielmini, her long-time best friend and care giver, Carol Bilski, great nieces and nephews, Morgan, Spencer, Hunter, Ashlyn, Ryan, Jonah, Joshua and Leilana. Laddie, her rescue pup will greatly miss her love and treats he has been spoiled with over the years.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 10 A.M. to 12 noon in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A funeral service will begin at 12 noon with Rev. Kevin Spear officiating. Interment will be private in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery – Ruff Creek PA.
