Leslie Anne Holland-Gordon, 83, passed away on October 4, 2025 in Conway, AR.

She was born on October 18, 1941 in Brainerd, MN to Dr. Glenn Leemhuis and Charlotte Mainella.

In 1958 she graduated Duluth East High School and married James E. Holland in 1964 and had two children, Brad and Kellie.

In 1986 Leslie and her family moved to North Little Rock, AR.

She's a friend of Bill W. and was 47 years sober. She volunteered her time at the Wolfe Street Foundation before she started her career with the State of Arkansas in 1987 and retired in 2009 as Senior Auditor with the Office of Child Support.

In her younger years she enjoyed golfing, bowling, skeet shooting, and later was active in Alcoholic Anonymous meetings and conferences, Civitan and LULAC.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Glenn Leemhuis, her adoptive father, Eugene A. Borg, her mother, Charlotte M. Borg, sister, Debra B. Helquist, her first husband, James E. Holland and her second husband, Robert E. Gordon.

She is survived by her son, Bradford (Brad) J. Holland, daughter, Kellie A. Emison, step-son, Randy Gordon, son-in-law, Henry L. Emison, grandson, Jared K. Emison (Kristen), great grandson, Theodore I. Emison, brother, Jan Borg, sister, Carla B. Anderson (Mark), brother in-law, Frank Helquist, sister-in-law, Janice Holland, several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for their help in taking care of our mother so she could spend her last years at home.

We would also like to thank Arkansas Alzheimer's Association for their help with respite care and support.
