Preceded in death by father and mother, Leslie Buford and Lena Pomeroy; wife, Joyce Pomeroy; and son, Leslie Steven Pomeroy. Survived by son, Scott (Tammy) Pomeroy; and grandson, Blake (Brittany) Pomeroy.
Funeral services will be conducted by Wendell Byrd on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. (visitation 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment Mapleview Cemetery. Family will serve as Pallbearers.

Scot, so sorry for your loss. I remember you all from being at the Phelps house when you were a toddler. Loved your Mama and sure miss talking to Kay. Take care and prayers for all.

So sorry to learn that Hubert had passed. I was friends with him years ago during our teens and beyond. I remember attending his first wedding from that time.
