Leslie Ann Ramey, 53, of Ridgeway, VA passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at her home. She was born on March 21, 1970 to Carolyn Davidson and the late Elmer Douglas Lester. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Earline Mabes, and Clyde Mabes; paternal grandparents, Elmer J. Lester and Doris Nance Lester; stepfather John Davidson; and step-granddaughter Harper Ramey.
Leslie worked for Henry County Public Schools. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed beach vacations, concerts, pool days, and shopping. She will be deeply missed by many.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Rick Ramey; children, Megan Gregory (Justin), Cody Martin (Nikki), Paige Rea (Branden); stepchildren, Chris Ramey (Tori), Logan Ramey; grandchildren, Ella Gregory, Abri Martin, Chanden Martin, Ryleigh Rea, and Maisie Rea; step-grandchildren, Hallie Ramey and Hagen Ramey; sisters, Angie Morton, Amy Garland, Jackie Manuel, and April Frazee; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Norris Funeral Services with Barry Crumpton officiating. A private burial will follow the service.
