Leslie-Ruth Zmyslo

Leslie-Ruth (Albright) Zmyslo, 81, of Toledo, Ohio, quietly departed this life on Friday, May 23, 2025. Leslie was born June 6, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Harold and Ruth (Tedrick) Albright.

She was a 1961 graduate of Milan High School. After which she attended Bowling Green State University extension in Sandusky for a year.

As a longstanding student of dance studying with Mayely Waite beginning at the age of 8, in the Fall of 1962, she was selected to attend the Musical Theatre Academy of New York, INC., in New York City.

In addition to a Sunday school teacher, Leslie was a sorter and packer at The American Crayon Company factory in Sandusky, Ohio.

Later in life she graduated with honors from Lourdes College. She had a rewarding career at Sunshine of NWO using her Occupational Therapy Assistant degree providing residential support to individuals with developmental disabilities until her retirement.

Surviving are daughter, Krista (Buzas) Lujan, Toledo; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis E. Zmyslo, in 2016; her brother, Willard "Bill" Albright; her parents, Harold and Ruth (Tedrick) Albright; and son-in-law, Pedro Lujan.

Services will be private. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at the now Three Meadows Post Acute Facility on Fremont Pike in Perrysburg for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Leslie's name.
