Yesterday

I've known Leslie since she was a graduate nurse. I was her first contact in NICU. What a wonderful person and exceptional nurse. She had so many talents besides her nursing. You'll be missed Leslie. Patti McHugh Lee

Rest in peace, Leslie. We worked together transporting babies at TTH. Leslie was a great baker, as I recall she would always bring her coworkers her annual Christmas cookies! So happy to hear she went on to marry, have a family and continue her education.

Like others who have posted, I worked with Leslie for many years. One of my fond memories of her is when we "play acted" for some students what it means to care for an infant who is totally dependent on others for life. Our "baby" in the demonstration was a very fragile, uncooked egg. It made quite an impression on the kids.

I am so very sorry to hear of Leslie's passing. I knew her from OLPH, McAuley and St. V's Nursing School. We had many classes together and even carpooled. But, after school I lost touch with her. I was trying to reconnect with her this past winter and did not know she was ill. What a beautiful and accomplished person she was. May you find peace in your sorrow knowing that she is resting in the presence of the Lord. Sincerely, Sue (Floyd) Iorio
