Leslyn Janell Smith

Leslyn Janell Smith, age 70, of Mustang, passed away on November 17, 2025. She was born in Ponca City, OK, on November 29,1954 to Leslie Louis and Alma Rose (Humphrey) Dove. She graduated from Ponca City High School and went on to attend Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa where she earned an associate degree in general business.
Throughout her life, Leslyn worked in a variety of businesses and job opportunities.
Leslyn was passionate about cooking meals, going to garage sales, working in the yard, planning family holidays, and giving to others in need (low-income schools, nursing homes, the homeless, and Jesus House). She loved all her pets: Fella, Rosie, Cricket, Lucy, Samson, Lola, and Holly. Most important to her, she was a devoted mother to her daughter, Sarah.
Leslyn is preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Crouch; her brother, Michael Dove; her parents, Leslie and Alma Dove; and her Grandparents and Aunts.
She is survived by her brother, Alan Dove and his wife Janice; her sister-in-law, Kathy Dove; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Public visitation will take place on Thursday, November 20th from 1-8pm at McNeil's Funeral Service.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 21st at 10am at McNeil's Funeral Service in Mustang. Burial will follow at Red Hill Cemetery.
