Lester Campbell

Lester Campbell born October 2, 1974 departed this life on Saturday – March 28, 2026 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 51-years old. Lester was born in Winchester, Kentucky the son of the late Else Campbell and the late Josephine Williams Campbell. Other than his parents, Lester was also preceded in death by grandmothers: Ella Mae Campbell and Alice Riley.

Lester enjoyed listening to music, with his favorite band being Motley Crue. His son Zackary was his pride & joy, he loved spending every moment he could with him. Lester was baptized at the Hazard A.R.H. in December while hospitalized, giving his life to the Lord.

Lester Campbell leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: fiancé, Holly Sandlin of Ary, KY; son, Zackary Ryan Campbell of Ary, KY; mother-in-law, Sharon Barger of Ary, KY; brother-in-law, Cameron Sandlin of Buckhorn, KY; brother, Mark Campbell of Typo; sister, Lorene Hurt of Rowdy, KY; special aunt, Tammy Couch of Typo; special great-niece, Adelynn Hurt; also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and special friends also survive.

Funeral Services for Lester Campbell will be held on Wednesday – April 1, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Eldon Miller officiating. The Interment will follow in the Campbell Cemetery located at Rowdy, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.
