Lester Chevallier

Lester W. Chevallier, Sr., 89, of Titusville, Fl, formerly of Leesburg, died Sunday October 26, 2025 at Vitas Hospice in Rockledge, FL.

His funeral service will be Monday, 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Rev. Andrew Kornegay will officiate.

A native of Jonesville, LA , Mr. Chevallier had lived in the Albany area for over 50 years before moving to Titusville four years ago. He retired from M&M Mars in Albany. Prior to his long employment with M&M Mars, Lester served honorably in the USAF for 13 years. Of his many endeavors, he was an avid antique restorer, loved his gardens and especially his muscadine vines, and spent 77 years meticulously collecting stamps.

In addition to his parents, Lester was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Juanita Chevallier, sister Linda Chevallier of Port Barre, LA, and by two grandsons Christopher Moss and Jeff Walker.

Survivors include his daughter, Terry L. Chevallier, Titusville, FL, Grandson Michael J. Chevallier, Titusville, FL, Stepdaughter Teresa Walker, Perry, GA, son Lester Chevallier, Jr., Pineville, LA, Sister and son in law Diane and Ray Lanclos, Port Barre, LA, Brother and sister in law Gerald and Mona Chevallier, Granddaughters Lesley and husband Jon Longbine, Perry, GA and Shannon Girlinghouse, Jena, LA, great grandsons Clark and Chase Girlinghouse, Jena, LA, Josh Walker, Perry GA, and 8 additional grandchildren from Louisiana, Georgia, and Colorado.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
