Lester Love Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Homer, Louisiana, on July 9, 1959. He accepted the gift of God's love at an early
age at the Antioch Baptist Church. Brother Love touched the hearts of family and
friends through his witty sense of humor.
Ray moved to Dallas, Texas, in the latter part of his life and was called home on
February 25, 2023.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Gloria Taylor.
Love leaves to cherish his memory: his siblings, Margie Rivers
of Houston, Texas, Maggie Rivers of Houston, Texas, Harold
Taylor, Jr., of Houston, Texas, Robert Jenkins (Pamela) of Dallas,
Texas, Yolanda Leaks (Donald) of Lancaster, Texas,
Shirley Jenkins of Dallas, Texas, and Marilyn
Doaks (Percy) of Dallas, Texas; three children, Latasha
Wells-Grant of Arlington, Texas, Kameka Lewis of Long Beach,
California, and Lester Ray Love, Jr., of Homer, Louisiana; and a host of
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

I will sure miss our daily conversation, we keep each other up in spirit. We been communicating ever since I moved to Texas that was about 10 years. My condolences to the family of Lester Love , he was a truly great friend and I´m going to miss him.
