Leticia Longoria Olvera

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beautiful mother Leticia Longoria Olvera on January 23, 2026.

Leticia was born in Uvalde, Texas to Pedro Longoria Sr. and Jesusa (Blanco) Longoria on January 19, 1961, and raised in Carrizo Springs, Texas.

Leticia is preceded in death by her parents Pedro Longoria Sr. and Jesusa (Blanco) Longoria, her son Tommy Olvera, as well as her grandparents. She is survived by her husband/best friend, Lucas Olvera Jr.; her sons Lucas Olvera III, Jason Olvera and daughter, Cristina Olvera, nine grandchildren; Marcus Menchaca, Jeremy Olvera, Jonathon Olvera, Lucas Olvera IV, Jordan Olvera, Jason Olvera Jr., Tommy Olvera, Mazie Olvera and Bryce Castillo, as well as all her brothers and sisters.

Leticia was a loving, hard-working person, she grew up as a migrant worker, traveling and working most of her life. If anyone knew her, they knew how much she loved to dance and gamble. Every time you saw her, she had a lottery tick in her hand. She could light up a whole room with just her smile and laugh.

She will always be remembered as a woman who loved her family and her little best friend (dog)Blackey. May she rest in everlasting peace.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Olvera, Jonathon Olvera, Lucas Olvera V, Jordan Olvera, Jason Olvera Jr., Tommy Olvera. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryce Castillo and Marcus Menchaca.
