Lew was a long time volunteer for our DAV Transportation Network Lew touched the lives of hundreds of veterans during that time, the veterans loved him they are deeply saddened by his passing. Lew and Carol were the perfect couple I can still hear Carol's voice when I called Lew she would always say "it is good to hear your voice" when i mentioned it to Lew he would say " that's my girl". Rest in peace my friend.

When I started driving bus for Cumberland County, Lew was the first driver I met and we later shared the Mechanicsburg run. One of the "kids" on his run would repeatedly ask, "Hey Lew, how are you" to which Lew would reply, "stupendous". Over and over again the question would be repeated, and the answer was always the same. Lew ~ you are now truly stupendous. Thanks for the memories. 46-26 to 46-14 signing off.
