Lewis Jones' older brother, Elbert, Jr. was one of my two best friends through middle school at Jasper, Texas. Me, Elbert, Jr., and Wayne Overstreet would walk to town every day at lunch time and spend our $.25 cent lunch money at the Jasper Bakery. I didn't even know that Elbert, Jr. had a younger brother named Lewis, nor much less that Lewis would grow up and marry my sister, Darleen. But even though my family moved to Indiana in 1956, we found our way back to Texas and the Lord put my Sis together with Lewis, and the rest of their 61 years together, their fabulous family, and the gifts that Lewis has given to countless others is blessed history. Thank you, Lord, for this gift to the Jones family, and to me!! I know that you have a better need for Lewis with you now!!
