So sorry to hear of your loss. So many things come to my mind when I think of Lewis. I only knew him for a few short recent years. I can't help but think of interesting memories, funny memories, educational memories of things he taught me, and some memories are just things he said that were in the front of his mind! What a privilege it was to help care for Lewis (and Marion) in their home, I learned so many valuable lessons. The Rider family has blessed my life in many ways. Thinking of you during this time of loss in your family. May you feel God's love around you. Blessings!

Lewis was my first cousin. His father and mine were brothers and my father, Seymour, lived to be 103. Lewis used to joke that he wanted to outlive my father, and he almost made it. He and I served on the Crystal Lake School Board together years ago. I have fond memories of him taking me for a ride in his airplane when I was a kid. Marion was a wonderful artist and he was very proud of her. We have a painting in our home that she did for us. We miss both of them very much.

What a treasure Lewis was (and your mom too). Always a smile, a wave, a handshake;a good man and an interesting one. Imagine 102! What a legacy he has left in you, his family, friends, and many people whose lives he touched and his involvement in so many things. Deepest sympathy to you all.

We used to love hearing him play the piano when we visited Ron's mother at the White Lake Assisted Living Center. So sorry to hear of his passing but what a nice long life he lived! You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sharon and Larry, we are sending thoughts and prayers in the loss of your father. Your Mom and Dad were such a nice couple and I really enjoyed waiting on them when I worked at the Stony Lake Bar, a long time ago but they are pleasant memories. Peace Be With You...John & Ann Peterson
