Hello this is Montez Hutchinson. I am Lewis little brother and my father side just recently found out about his passing. I have no way of getting a hold of anyone on his mothers side to find out some information. I see that there was going to be something here in Detroit and I was wondering if we missed saying our last goodbyes. Lewis, it's been a little over two weeks and reality is still sinking in. You are missed so much! R.I.P.!

Lewis, my brother/co-worker. I remember those serious conversations we used to have about faith, family, religion, jazz music, nutrition and just life in general. We worked together for several years in Sector 2 and backed each other up on many calls for service. Remember discussing how crazy/weird people can be at times. I was shocked and saddened when I got the news. The Lord saw you getting tired and decided to call you home, even tough you were fighting a tough battle with him by your side. Many people need to take a page out of your book. Until we meet again in Heaven, will continue to pray for strength, understanding and serenity for your family and loved ones.

Lewis, you were one of my best friends. From Murray Wright High School to the Detrot Police Department. Laughing when things were hilarious and crying together when things got rough. I miss you already. I thank God that I had the honor and pleasure to have such a great friend like you. I love you! May God bless your family and friends.

Wow, such a sad day to find out my academy partner has made his transition. Stitt, you will be greatly missed brother. All I can do right now is reflect on the days we shared on the phone and you making me laugh mimicking dispatch. Oh, and not forget your radio Dj days on 107.5.....R.I.P

Lewis, My dear cousin/brother. Words cannot express the loss that I feel right now, I will miss you and your radio voice always running down your radio practice lines to me over the phone as you tried to make your start on the radio and for your constant impersonations in jest... I will MISS YOU so much. My HEART aches at the thought of knowing I will never hear the radio intro of "Lewis DaLone" again. I Love You!!!

Lewis you will truly be missed. I didn't talk to you often enough, but when I did you always brightened my day. You were a kind and gentle soul that touched many hearts. Rest In Peace

Lewis was such a kind person. I worked with him at the Alexandria Police Department. I always enjoyed chatting with him, and I immediately knew that he was really a good person with a kind heart. RIP Lewis.
