Fahler Dunlap
February 25, 1931 – April 2, 2025
Beloved Father and Friend, Fahler passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025 at the age of 94.
Fahler was born a middle child of a large family - He had three much older brothers and three younger siblings. Growing up during hard times helped form his character of tireless determination and fierce independent.
He excelled at sports, playing on the local town baseball team at age 12 and participated in baseball and football throughout high school years.
Marrying his high school sweetheart Doris, they spent over 70 years living life to its fullest. Always ready for adventure and opening their home to their many friends. Time at the family vacation lot was always special with crabbing, digging clams and cocktails by the fire.
Fahler was an incurable tinkerer, never satisfied with ordinary results. He was constantly trying to improve his skills and increase his efficiency while getting chores done. Ahead of his time, he was a master at recycling, reusing and rebuilding.
Remember Fahler every time you raise your glass! A celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
The family sends a heartfelt THANK YOU to all his friends and staff at Parkhurst Place Assisted Living and Hospice of the Gorge.
