Lia Rachael (Hill) Andersen, age 34, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on October 27, 2025 in Murray, Utah. Lia was born to Gregory Allen Hill and Melissa Dawn Bradford Hill on April 13, 1991 in Bremerton, Washington. Lia married Eric Jason Andersen on June 21, 2014, in the Seattle, Washington Temple, for time and all eternity. They lived in Murray, Utah. Lia was a loving mother to their two daughters, Eleanor (7) and Sophie (5), and the very best friend and wife to Eric. Lia was a valued employee of Goldman Sachs and she was very good at her job. She was extremely talented and has many hobbies including sewing, crocheting, cooking and reading. Being home with her family was her most favorite place to be.
Lia is survived by her husband, Eric Jason Andersen, their two daughters, Eleanor and Sophie, her father Gregory Allen Hill, her mother Melissa Dawn Bradford Hill, her sister Sarah (Hill) Welch, her grandmother Gerri Bradford, and grandparents Thelma and Jim Howerton. Lia is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Marc Hill and Ellis Bradford, and her uncle Todd Hill.
A viewing will be held on Monday, November 3rd from 10:30-11:30 am at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary in Murray (4760 South State Street). A graveside service will follow at Elysian Burial Gardens in Millcreek at 12 noon (1075 East 4580 South).
