Liam Mount Kamla, precious infant son, of Ali and Ben Kamla was born December 8, 2025 and was received into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday March 14, 2026.
Liam’s name means ‘strong-willed warrior,’ and that he truly was. He had the sweetest spirit, a calm and content personality, and showed the strength of a true little fighter.
In his time on earth, Liam’s life gave and received immeasurable love. He was a blessing to this world, deeply loved and cherished by all who knew him. He forever changed their lives, and their hearts will always hold love for him.
He leaves his parents, Ali Thibodeaux Kamla and Benjamin Kyle Kamla of Lake Charles; maternal grandparents, John and Leigh Ann Thibodeaux; paternal grandparents, Roger and Jean Kamla; aunt and godmother, Kate Thibodeaux Kingrey and husband Scott; aunts, Ashleigh Thibodeaux and Hannah Kamla Eval and husband Taylor; uncle, Blake Thibodeaux; godfather, Crawford Courville and cousin, Jay Kingrey.
His funeral services will be at 2:30 PM Friday, March 20, 2026 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Father Keith Pellerin and Reverend Weldon Baras will officiate. Interment services will follow at Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Friday will be from 12:00 PM until the beginning of the Rosary service at 2:00 PM.
