Libby Ann Marshall Long, 91, died on February 20, 2024 at Trellis Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born on October 25, 1932 to Sallie Ann and Crosland Herbert Marshall in Forsyth County, NC. Libby graduated from Old Town High School in 1951 and worked at Wachovia Bank for a few years before becoming a full-time Home Maker. She was a lifetime member of New Hope Methodist Church. She will always be in our hearts.
Libby is survived by her husband of 64 years, Roy Lee Long; daughters, Karen Long and Janice Long Baker; grandchildren, Dustin (Kristin) Baker and Brittany (Robert) Lawson, four great-grandchildren, Andrew Lee Baker, Taylor Ann Lawson, Weston Douglas Baker, and Landon Blake Lawson; special family members, brother-in-law Jimmy Long and sister-in-law Norma Long, Richard McFarland, Craig, Joy, Brandon, and Wesley Bloxham, and Peggy Williams.

Libby will lie in state Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Salem Funeral Home on Reynolda Road. A graveside service officiated by Dr. J. F. Howard will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23 at New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery, 5125 Shattalon Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27106. Condolences may be sent online at www.salemfh.com.
