Ligia Piedad Cisneros Armas

Ligia Piedad Cisneros Armas, 81, died in peace on August 6th, 2024 surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and her closest family and friends.
Ligia was born and raised in Bolivar, Carchi, Ecuador on October 26th 1942 where she got married and had two children before deciding that she needed to leave her beloved country and emigrate to the United States in order to seek a better life for her and her family. She lived in Bridgeport for more than 40 years where she held a job at The Watermark 3030 Park avenue
Ligia was a daring and endlessly motivated woman, always working hard to attain the home she always wanted for her children (and her beloved cats) and to fund her lifelong passions. She loved flowers, especially in her favorite color fuchsia, adored her cats (which all had the same name "Kerubin/a"), listening to her favorite artist Julio Jaramillo, taking photographs, and most importantly playing cards with her family every Sunday and going as often as possible to any casino playing her favorite games Let it Ride and 4 card poker.
Ligia will always be remembered for her tenacity, her steadfast devotion to her family, her one- of-a-kind sayings and nicknames, her joyful attitude, and her enormous heart where she never held resentment towards anyone We will all miss her dearly as she left an immeasurable hole in all of our hearts.
She was survived by her Children Miriam and Marco Andrade; her daughter-in-law Tere Andrade; her Grandchildren Adonnis Andrade and Andres Cardenas; her Sisters Yolanda (Alfredo) Almeida, Gladys (Feyez) Bechara, Blanca Leonila Cisneros, Geomar (Lee) Pereira, Marcia Cisneros, Martha (Napo) Peñaherrera, Sonia (Wilson) Santiana, Monica Cisneros; her Brothers Charlie (Joan) Cisneros, Guillermo Cisneros; and her many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Jorge Alfredo and Julia Esther Cisneros; and her Brothers Jorge Oswaldo Cisneros, and Jorge Alfredo Cisneros; her Nieces and Nephews David, Lisa, and Richard.
