Dear Paul & Lois,
There are no words to express our intense sorrow. To have mourned at the funeral Mass of a Father, welcomed a new Grandchild, and suffered the tragic loss of a beloved daughter in a twenty four hour or so period is unfathomable. All we can do is pray for you and the little ones left behind. Rest assured that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

To The Brown & Tucker Family,

I was shocked & saddened to hear of Liisa's passing. She was a wonderful person with a great heart. The things I will remember the most about Liisa is her kindness. In high school she would be the one to alway ask how you were doing & care about the things that were going on in your life. I can just imagine how wonderful of a wife & mother she was. I would like to express my deepest sympaty from my entire famiy to yours. May God bless you all & give you strength in this time of great sorrow.

Dear friends,

I am flooded with wonderful memories of Liisa, the little girl who wanted to be like her Mom in every way, who adored her Dad, who tenderly protected her little sister; the apple of her uncles' eyes. I see two young girls running through the leaves with Patches, coming back from Lempi's house on a Saturday afternoon. I see the girl who learned from her Uncle Pete how to love people and accept their differences, the girl who taught other people how to do that, too.

I see a young girl in her St B's uniform, posing proudly with her little sister; the girl whose teachers and principal knew her potential, the girl who never wanted to let anyone down, whose deep sense of faith gave her the ability to speak in simple and eloquent words about complex concepts like charity. I see the pride and delight she brought to Mom and Dad Brown. I remember how many times I prayed that someday I would have a daughter like that girl, a family like that to belong to.

I see the young woman who amazed us all with her tenacity and her scholastic accomplishments, who spread her wings to foreign shores, the woman who knew struggles and success, the woman who found her God-intended mate in the person of Brian Tucker. I see the woman who recognized the gifts she had been given in Wayne and Jackie Tucker. I see the woman who leaves us a living legacy in her precious, beautiful children.

Liisa, this message is for you. We are all struggling to find our way in the wake of your sudden departure from this life, but we will make sure that all our wonderful memories of you become a part of everyday life for Brian and your children, that your presence is ever felt.

Thank you for the hard work you did in this life. Thank you for the very funny and touching memories I have of you and your family, and thank you for continuing to include me in your life even as we moved worlds apart.

God Bless you and Dad Brown, and God Bless those of us waiting to be with you in eternity.

Until then, with tremendous love,
Priscilla

To Brian and Liisa's children: I am stunned by the news of Liisa's passing. She and I have worked together over the years. She (with a little help from you, Brian) did some special surveying and data analysis for me. I came to the house several times and met some of the kids. Liisa was brillient, gentle, and so, so complicated. I admired her and cared about her very much and I am so saddened by your loss for you and the babies she loved so much. Much love to you all, Janet Hill

Brian,
We are family friends of Paul, Lois, and Leslie. Each Christmas we looked forward to the Christmas card from Paul and Lois with Zachary, Hannah, Joshua, Jordan and Haley’s beautiful faces looking out, wishing us Merry Christmas. Our hearts go out to you and your beautiful children. The sadness we feel has no words. From you they will gain the strength needed to go forward, remembering the mother who loved them with her whole heart and soul. Be strong and know that God is with you.

Lois and Paul and Leslie,
Oh, what can we say? We love you. Our hearts are heavy and we have cried many tears. There are simply no words to express our sorrow. Your loss is unimaginable, your wonderful girl... gone, so suddenly and without chance to say goodbye. Your support of Liisa in all her endeavors, your pride in all she accomplished, your love…your unending and enduring love was extraordinary, truly a model for others to follow. When John and I hugged you and Paul the other night, little did we know what we were really hugging you for, this heartwrenching tragedy. We hope that our love and the love of so many who love the Brown family will sustain you at this most difficult of times.

Lois, Paul and Leslie, may you take comfort in the many wonderful memories that was shared. May God bless Liisa and Brian's children.

My memories of Liisa are filled with thoughts of her strength, her infectious smile, her passion for life, and her loving heart. I had the honor of knowing her as a young lady. She went on to become an accomplished woman, wife, and mother. Remember that love is eternal.

Dear Brian and Family,

Words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss. Growing up with the Brown Family has given me great memories, and all of them contain stories about Liisa. My brother graduated with Leslie, so our families were always close. I remember the Easter Sundays when the whole family would stop by after Easter dinner at Oak Hill Country Club. My brother and I recalled memories of when our parents and the Brown's would go out to dinner and Liisa would be left to watch us. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and wife.

I feel blessed to have known her and know that she will be looking down upon her children, continuing to love them as much as she did before she left us.

Paul, Lois and Leslie, may God be with you and keep you strong during this most difficult of times. Please know that you are in our hearts and in our prayers.

Words cannot express the sadness we feel in our hearts for all of you today. Growing up with Leslie, Liisa was always like a big sister to me. I remember so vividly her picking us up from STB's elementary in her silver car, always telling us first to buckle up and then taking us for our fix of Friendly's sundae's before our dance lessons. Liisa loved her family and her baby sister Leslie with all of her heart. I remember being at their wedding - my Mother still to this day says that Liisa had the perfect dress fit just for her, the lace just brushed the floor when she danced.

Brian please know that all of us in Massachusetts are thinking of you and have heavy hearts bearing a piece of the grief.

Zach, Hannah, Joshua, Haley, and Jordan - your Mommy loved you all so much and her memory will live on in each one of you.

Deepest sympathies to Mr & Mrs. Brown and Leslie. It's diffucult to express the amount of shock and sadness all of us feel. Your love for Liisa was second to none, your constant support and care as parents is something that I always remember.

And to Liisa - may you rest in peace and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

With love,
Caitlin, Josh, and Reilly
