Lillian Geddes Cotter

Lillian (Rita) Geddes Cotter, age 91 of Westport, beloved wife of the late Edward F. Cotter, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Staten Island, NY the daughter of the John and Lillian Geddes, she had been a lifelong area resident. A devout Roman Catholic, she was a long-time parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Fairfield. Survivors include two children, Patricia A. Crespi and her husband Jack of Milford and Edward T. Cotter and his wife Catherine of Landenberg, PA; three grandchildren, Christopher Cotter, Amy Crespi and Kelley Cotter; a great-grandson, Nathan Edward Florez; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth M. Pfriem; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her daughter, Pamela R. Cotter and five brothers. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
