Lillian DeLuca Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 29, 2025.
Lillian Geraldine DeLuca, 88, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at her home in Doylestown, surrounded by the love of her family.

Lillian was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Michael DeLuca. Together, they shared over 40 years of marriage, raising a family rooted in love, faith, and tradition before his passing in 2000.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Lillian was the daughter of the late Minotti and Rose Grimaldi Pellecchia. She was reunited in peace with her husband, Joseph Michael DeLuca; her son-in-law, Dennis Cipressi; her sisters Rita Wagman, Marie Pellacchia, Jean Knoblauch, and Claire Geslao; and her lifelong best friend, Patsy Rossi, all of whom she loved dearly and missed deeply.

Lillian's family was the center of her world. She will be deeply missed by her devoted children: Deborah Miller (Curtis), Joseph DeLuca (Melody), Theresa Cipressi (Dave Pickwell), Denise Subick (Michael). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Katrina, Gary, Beverly, Laura, Wesley, Justin, Emily, Jennifer, Crystal Rose, Steven, Crystal, Deanna, Felicia and Cole. Her legacy continues through her 24 great-grandchildren and her first great-great-granddaughter, each of whom brought her immense joy.

Lillian will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews, who carry with them fond memories of her gentle spirit, her stories, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.

She also leaves behind her cherished friends and neighbors - Frances, Leona, and Robin - whose companionship brought her great happiness in her later years.

Known for her warmth, strength, and deep devotion to those she loved, Lillian was a matriarch in every sense. Whether sharing stories from her life, cooking her famous ravioli from scratch, or filling the room with laughter during games like Rummi and Spoons, she brought joy wherever she went. With laughter that lingered like music and a heart open to all, she had a rare gift for turning everyday moments into cherished memories.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Lillian's family on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 9:30am, until the start of her Funeral Mass at 10:30am at Saint Martha Parish at 11301 Academy Road Philadelphia, PA 19154. Her interment will take place immediately following the mass at Resurrection Cemetery in 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020

In honoring Lillian's life, may we remember the strength of her love, the warmth of her home, and the enduring bonds of family she so gracefully nurtured. May we also remember her beautiful face, lit by a smile that so often gave way to laughter.
