Lillian Reid Hicks passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at her residence. She was born on May 22, 1953, in Grove Hill to Charles Henry and Billie Jean White Reid. Ms. Hicks served as Mayor of the Town of Coffeeville for many years before her retirement. She loved caring for her family in many ways but above all else she loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Black of Cullman; daughter, Mallory White and husband, Wesley of Coffeeville; sister, Margaret Jordan of Coffeeville; sister, Sharon Johnson and husband Sidney of Montgomery; brother, Charles Reid and wife Connie of Tuscaloosa; and grandchildren, Jaden Edge, Ivy Edge, Ellis Godwin, Jr., Hallie Godwin, and Wesley White, Jr.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Henry and Billie Jean White Reid.
Pallbearers include Jeffrey Jordan, Gaines Jordan, Greg Siavelis, Nicholas Reid, Charlie Reid, and Jamie Dunagan.
