Our friendship and shared journey began in the late 60´s at Tulane Medical School. We had daily group gatherings in the cafeteria...We did a lot of laughing and drank alot of coffee! We had many Friday nights in the Quarter with our group having fun! We had a Tulane bowling league, that was some terrific Thursday nights till midnight at Fazzio Lanes on the Westbank! You left and moved to the Presidents office at First NBC, I soon followed. You welcomed Gov Edwards to Jim Jones office to initiate the building of the Superdome...I remember that day! Edwards walked in like a "rockstar" We played on the bank tennis team and after work and weekends we were City Park regulars in hot or cold weather...and long after that ...9am at Gerard Park! Never made it to Wimbledon, but loved the game! After we all scattered away to separate lives.. the "Tulane Medical Fab Five" me, you, Jane, Ewlene & Bonnie met for lunch for many many years....until health challenges forced our group apart.
So now I pray you Rest In Peace for a well deserved eternity with the Lord.
Until we meet again my friend ...you were a wonderful person ....it was a privilege to have had you in my life and know what a good friend you were. Love, Carolyn Campagne Landwerlin (8-20-23)
