Lillian Lay

Lillian Lay, 88, passed away in Dallas, Tx Saturday, May 26th, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel & Bill Adcock; and siblings Ernest Owens and Wanda Gavin. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Harris; sister, Nancy Owens or Mahaffey; grandchildren, Michael Harris & Ronny Harris; and great grandchildren, Haley Harris, Travis Harris & Madison Harris. Lillian was born and raised in McKinney Texas. She was a talented cosmetologist and worked in the Dallas area over thirty-five years. In her retirement, Lillian enjoyed writing poetry and sketching. A cornerstone in her life was her forty-two year fellowship in Alcoholics Anonymous, where she loving known as Diamond Lil. Granny, as she was affectionately known to her family, will be greatly missed. Visitation: Wednesday May 30 at Eastgate Funeral Home from 3:00 PM till 4:00 PM. Service will be held at Eastgate Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday May 30 at 4:00 PM.
