I had the privilege of taking care of Granny for four years. She was more than someone I cared for - she was a true friend. I always told her she was the coolest grandma I had ever known. She and I shared so many stories. She loved my daughter, and she loved me. She always worried about me, and at times it felt as though she was the one taking care of me.
Until our very last conversation, she never stopped talking about how proud she was of her four children, how much she missed her husband and her chihuahuas, and how ready she was for whenever the Lord would call her home. She spoke with peace about how much she had enjoyed her life and the love she received from her family, and she always returned to how deeply she adored her children.
I will miss our venting conversations, all the laughter, the jokes, and the sweetness of her spirit.
May the Lord hold you in His arms for eternity, and may He bring peace and comfort to your family, Granny.

Granny and I became close friends...we spent a lot of time together...sharing memories of our lives...Cindy and Chad enjoyed getting to know her!
Our Good Nights consisted of "I love you bunches and boocoodles" and blowing each other a kiss!
Although I will miss her dearly I am at peace knowing she is in Heaven with her Husband!
