Lillian "Rose" Prichard
Lillian "Rose" Prichard, 94, of Ellington, beloved wife to the late Francis J. Prichard, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2025. She was born on August 2, 1931, in Rockville, daughter to the late Lillian and John Loalbo, and was raised in Rockville along with her five brothers and four sisters.
In 1959, Rose married Francis and moved to Ellington where she has resided for the past 66 years. She has been a communicant of St. Luke Church since its founding, and her Catholic faith has been a steadfast for her throughout her life.
Along with her husband, Rose was predeceased by their daughter, Laurie. She was also predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Kristina (Godek). Rose is survived by her three sons, Joe, Jim and John- all of Ellington; her grandsons, Jesse, Jake and Jonny; her granddaughter, Madeline; her great-grandson, Jaxon; her brother, Richard Loalbo of Vernon and his wife Sue who has been a dedicated friend for many years; her sister-in-law, Bunny Loalbo of Destin, FL, and many nieces, nephews and their families.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 14, 2025, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Luke, 141 Maple St., Ellington. All guests are kindly asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Ellington Center Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
