Lillian Eloise Davis Rogers was born in California on January 21, 1943, and transitioned into eternity on February 5, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with her family by her side.

She spent her childhood and youth in Vallejo, California. After marrying, she became an Air Force wife and traveled the world, welcoming three daughters along the way: Judi, Teresa (Teri), and Stephanie. Eventually, she made her home in Oologah, Oklahoma, where she lived for the rest of her life.

Lillian was a devoted and hard working woman. She spent many years as a housekeeper at the nursing home in Collinsville, Oklahoma, where she became a steady, compassionate presence for residents, staff, and families. After leaving the nursing home, she went to work at Howmet/Pratt & Whitney in Claremore. When the plant closed, she returned to the nursing home — the place where her dedication and care had always shined — and continued working there until she retired in her late 70s.

She was tenacious, fiercely loyal, and full of heart. She had a sense of humor that could catch you off guard — often sarcastic, always sharp, and delivered with perfect timing. If she loved you, you were hers, and she would do anything for you. Through the years, her family grew in every direction, and she showed us by example that family isn’t defined only by blood, but by love, loyalty, and the people you choose to stand with.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Royal C. Davis and Sallie Libhart Davis; her brothers Hugh, Roy, Robert, and Rodney; her sister Marian; and her great granddaughter Kyleigh Pitts.

Lillian is survived by her daughters and their significant others: Judi Chalakee and Kenny Chalakee, Teresa (Teri) Brown and Kevin Brown, and Stephanie Pitts and Tommy “Tye” Borders. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, as well as all those who were blessed to call her Grandma Rogers.

The family will hold a memorial gathering on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Details will be posted when available.

A special thanks to everyone who took time to assist her, drive her where she needed to go, check on her and on us, or visit her. Every call, text, and message of support has been deeply appreciated.

Leaving you with this: When we pray for healing, we must be ready for ultimate healing. Lillian Rogers — our Mom — received ultimate healing and will never experience pain again. In Christ, we will see her again.
