Lillian Sayre Obituary

She was born December 19, 1943, in Red Springs, NC to Pearlie Locklear and Mattie Locklear. She moved to Lexington with her husband Granville Keith Sayre in 1977. Lynn attended the Church of Deliverance in Lexington.
She is survived by her husband, Granville Keith Sayre and two sons, Daniel Wade Sayre and David Lee Sayre, one grandson, Christian Renfro of Irvine, KY and one sister Lizzie Locklear of Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearlie and Mattie Locklear of Red Springs NC, two sisters, Reldie Locklear of Red Springs NC and Ollie Locklear of Decatur IL; and three brothers Amon Locklear, Pete Locklear, Tommy Locklear and Ronnie Locklear Haith all of Red Springs NC.
Pallbearers will be Tim Hurt, Tony Hurt, Andrew Hurt, Kary Wylie, Kameron Wylie and Hershel Short.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2025, with funeral immediately following at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
