Lillian Marie Shepard, 82, a lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away peacefully after spending time surrounded by her loved ones on May 7, 2025. Lillian was born on December 11, 1942 to the late Frank and Pauline Jeffries. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Robert E. Shepard. She was a devoted wife, mother to her three children and a labor and delivery nurse for 44 years at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital (nka Western Reserve). Lillian is survived by her children Marlene (Chris) Martin, Scott (Carmen) Shepard, and Christine (Ritesh) Shepard-Desai, as well as her most beloved grandchildren, Jarrett, Nathan, Robert, Allison, Emma, Madelyn, Lillian, and Kavya. She also leaves behind her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Lillian was an incredibly loving person who made sure to show that love through her many acts of service to her family, friends and even strangers. There will be a visitation from 9am-10:30am on Saturday May 17, 2025 at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Followed by a burial at Crownhill Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday May 17th at 4pm at Northampton United Methodist Church, 852 W. Bath Rd. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northampton United Methodist Church.
