Lillian Grace Taylor, 90, of Mechanicsville, MD entered the gates of heaven on December 28, 2025. She was born in Lumberton, NC (Robeson County) on July 28, 1935 to the late Eddie and Katie Anderson. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Leon Alford Taylor, and great-granddaughter Autumn Compton.

Lillian is survived by her sons Lindsey Taylor (Robin) and Morris Taylor (Janice ), her daughter Cindy Neill (Tim), 14 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Lillian was a devoted wife, loving mother, compassionate grandmother, caring great-grandmother, and loyal friend. She was a strong woman of Christian faith who loved her Lord and Savior. Lillian was a member of Hughesville Baptist Church for 49 years. Over the years, she served in the choir and many other ministries. She loved the beach and family vacations. She also enjoyed weekend trips with lifelong friends. Lillian owned a battery franchise with her late husband until it was sold in recent years.

On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, the family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Hughesville Baptist Church, 8505 Old Leonardtown Road, Hughesville, MD 20637. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 10:00am at Hughesville Baptist Church. Interment will take place afterward at Trinity Memorial Gardens - 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Neill, Brian Haupt, Tyler Catterton, Ethan Snider, Troy Haupt and Morris Taylor. A Celebration of Life luncheon will follow at Hughesville Baptist Church. Flowers can be sent to Hughesville Baptist Church.
