Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 09, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan for Lillian Marie Landry Trahan, age 93, who died Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Magnolia Estates in Lafayette. Interment will be in the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. Pastor Joseph Boutin will conduct the services.
Survivors include her two daughters, Katherine Deusser and her husband Rick of Lafayette and Susan Dugas and her husband Greg of Lafayette; one son, Duane Trahan and his wife Sandra of Scott; five grandchildren, Dawn Page and her husband Kevin, Ryan Trahan, Spencer Trahan and his wife Amber, Jeffrey Dugas, Eric Dugas and his husband Omer Libich, and Lynn Aikman and her husband Kenny. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Watson (Henry), Ethan Page, Luke Page, Eli Trahan, Wes Trahan, Ali Trahan, Emy Trahan, Avery Trahan, Landon Trahan, Lillian Dugas, Jessica Munch, Kenny Aikman (Danielle) and Josh Aikman and three great-great-grandchildren, James Aikman, David Munch, and Brody Munch.
Mrs. Trahan was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick James Trahan; one daughter, Patricia Ann Trahan; her parents, Gaston and Elodie Landry; four brothers, Dalton Landry, Eldis Landry, Thomas Landry, and Lurcy Paul Landry; five sisters, Alice Monic, Elgin Simon, Yola Landry, Eula Mae Landry, and Louella Boutin.
A native of Kaplan, Mrs. Trahan, resided in Lafayette for most of her life.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff and friends that she had at Brookdale Senior Living, the staff at Magnolia Estates, and the nurses and caregivers at Hospice of Acadiana. Memorial donations can be made in her name to Hospice of Acadiana.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Trahan, Jeffrey Dugas, Spencer Trahan, Kevin Page, Ethan Page, and Luke Page.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan (337) 643-7276.
