Funeral for Lillian Louise Tucker, 68, of Falkville, will be Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville with Dr. Lee Walton officiating. The body will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Cochran Cemetery in New Market.There will be a Celebration of Life in her honor at Lone Star Steakhouse on University Drive in Huntsville following the burial. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tucker, who died Friday, January 4, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital, was born August 17, 1944, in Madison County to Virgal Wade Hillis and Florince Lueoasie Priest Hillis. Mrs. Tucker retired from Engelhard Corporation. Her true devotion was to her family. She also enjoyed gardening immensely. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Tucker; brother, Virgal Odell Hillis; and sister, Beatrice Hillis.

She is survived by one daughter, Melissa Diane Elsea of Falkville; three brothers, William Thomas Hillis and Robert T. Hillis, both of New Hope and Roger Leedon Hillis of Madison; two sisters, Ethel Elvleen Ikard of Hazel Green and Mary Jane Lamb of New Hope; grandson, Paul Alan Elsea Jr. of Falkville; granddaughter, Angela Christine Elsea of Decatur; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Hillis, Gary Hillis, Buford Hillis, Kenneth Hilliard, David Clark, Paul Elsea Sr., and Jay Pepper.
